Visiting Hours and Policies
Visitors are encouraged for patients of Perry County Memorial Hospital because of their beneficial impact on patients. Generally, visitors are allowed as long as the patient can tolerate the activity and there are no restrictions required because of medical conditions or treatment.
Nursing staff is required to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and may ask visitors to leave during treatments, personal care, physician rounds, or to preserve the patient's strength/rest/privacy.
Visitors may be limited in number. Children will not be allowed unless accompanied by an adult. All requirements for handling of contagious diseases will be followed.
