Perry County Memorial Hospital Approved for Phase 1B Vaccine Clinic

TELL CITY, Indiana - Perry County Memorial Hospital is committed to offering the best care to our community and patients and to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine as effectively and safely as possible. As we are on the forefront of the pandemic, vaccination has proven to be the next step in controlling COVID-19.
We are very excited to announce that we have been approved to be a Phase 1B vaccination clinic for the COVID-19 vaccination of Moderna. Beginning Friday, January 22nd, Perry County Memorial Hospital will be offering the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible patients as deemed by the Indiana State Department of Health.
The preliminary vaccination schedule is as following:
- Mondays from 08:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 06:30 PM
- Fridays from 08:00 AM to 3:30 PM
The PCMH COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will be held in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at PCMH.
Information regarding whom is eligible for the vaccine is fluid and updated frequently. We continue to urge the community to check the Indiana State Department of Health website and social media for updates as they arise. Hospital vaccine allocations are distributed as determined by the state and federal guidance.

We ask for your patience as we begin this vaccination program. As we await the widespread availability of the vaccines, we must all continue to practice COVID-19 precautions such as wearing face coverings, practicing social distancing, and washing hands frequently.
The PCMH Medical Executive Committee supports COVID-19 vaccination. Dr. Jerry Pearson - Chief of Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery, Dr. Ana Krizman - Medical Director of PCMH Rural Health Clinics, and Dr. Eric Kleeman - Medical Director of Infection Control have all expressed their support of the COVID-19 vaccination. 48% of PCMH employees have started to receive the vaccine and 65% have expressed interest to provide safe care to our community.
